Miuccia Prada was voted by The Wall Street Journal as one of the 30 most powerful women in Europe. Armed with a PhD in Political Science, Miu Miu is named and modeled upon a woman to be reckoned with. The designer took over her grandfather’s luggage company in 1978 and by the mid 1980s, made Prada the cult label of the decade. The up-to-date bridge label, Miu Miu, was established in 1993.
Combining feminine with masculine, beautiful without being prim, Miu Miu is for women who realise that fashion is not the be all and end all. Miuccia Prada loves fashion, but thinks it should stay in its place, not rule your life. She believes that fashion is a very nice part of your life, but also thinks it should be fun.
